Originally designed by noted architect Dick Wilson, over the past 20 years the Blue Monster has been modified and updated to meet the demands of the PGA Tour by two-time Doral Champion and hall-of-famer Raymond Floyd and world Renowned golf instructor, Jim McLean. PGA Tour legend Raymond Floyd recently redesigned this course to follow a traditional Florida layout, incorporating gently contoured greens, strategic bunkering and water surrounding 16 holes. Breaking away from a Florida-style layout, golf legend Jerry Pate redesigned the Silver Course to include narrow, rolling fairways, raised tee boxes and elevated greens. The Silver offers a diverse mix of short and long holes throughout the course, with water coming into play on 16 holes.
